Imagination

Robert has started to show his imagination more and more lately. He loves to pretend that he is a super hero. He will go from being Astroboy to Spiderman to Incedible Hulk, Ironman, and even Batman. This last Thursday though it was a Batman kind of day I guess. He grabbed one of my headbands and put it on over his nose and said it was his mask and then he put on his cape and ran aound singing Batman. Bryce called to have us pick him up and Robert refused to put anything else on so he got in the car dressed as Batman and went to get Daddy. After dinner Robert went and got a blanket and had me put that on as his cape so that he could put the black cape on Daddy so they could play batman together. It was a really fun night and I am glad I was able to snap a few pictures.

Seattle

Last weekend we decided to take a trip over to Seattle. Robert was so excited to go because he was going to ride a boat and a train to go see more dinosaurs. We went to the pacific Science Museum and had a great time while we were there. We did see the dinosaurs, but we also played with robots, made music in the music room, played with toys, saw snakes and naked mole rats. The best though was the animal grossology exhibit they had. We had so much fun that on the way back to the boat Robert couldn't walk and so I was able to carry my little boy cradled in my arms. That is something he hasn't let me do since he started to walk.

I have a lot of pictures so I will let them finish telling about our trip!
This ball is actually really heavy but the water makes it so that you can stop it and make it turn another way.

Robert really liked this steal drum in the music room.

Robert played with blocks in an area that was mirrors on all the walls.

Daddy and Robert controlling the robot.

The grossology stuff was a lot of fun and as you can see they made the exhibit really colorful so that kids would stay interested.

This was my favorite picture though. I took it on our way back and just loved how the sun hit the water.

Chicago

Wow. It has taken me a long time to get these pictures up on here. Things have been crazy though. We are getting ready to move and so with packing it has been nuts. Our trip though was a lot of fun. It was great to see our family and as soon as I have Robert's pictures that he took on the computer I will add them to the blog. He has some great pictures of my family and the ones on my camera are from the zoo and things like that.

Like I said we went to the zoo while we were there and while Robert enjoyed the elephants and gorillas and everything his favorite were the dinosaurs. So there are lots of pictures of them.

Robert said that these were the Robert and Daddy dinosaurs.

He then said that this was the mommy dinosaur. I guess that means I am scarier than daddy. I don't know if that is good or bad.

We stopped in Wall Drug on our way home and took some pictures there as well.
I thought it would be funny to take this picture. Then with where Robert put his hand it made it even funnier.

Robert on the Jackolope. He was scared to get on this at first but after he saw other kids sit on it he thought it would be ok.

Robert and I by the stuffed bear. This is the only picture on my camera from our vacation so there you go proof that I was there!
