Christmas

Merry Christmas We hope that everyone had as wonderful a day as we did. We are hoping to be able to talk to my brother in about an hour and a half so I don't have a ton of time to spend on this entry. Robert had a wonderful Christmas thanks to all of our family. The gifts and calls were wonderful and made our day brighter. We love all of our family so much and wish we could have been with you all today but we had a merry little Christmas with our little family. Here are some pictures of the day.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We are leaving for Portland tomorrow and are not sure when we will be back home so I thought I would say it now!!!

OK. I know I know I know. I have been really bad about updating lately. I'll try to be better about it. So since last I wrote...

We have had Thanksgiving. We went down to Bryce's grandparent's house the night before then spent the day with them and drove home the next day so that Bryce could get to work.
Then the day after Christmas we put up our tree. Robert had so much fun.
When we were done he took his cars and went around the tree like it was a race track.
He has done really well not touching the presents. We have had our first snow of the season and are supposed to get another big storm tomorrow afternoon. We will see what happens. If it hits then things will not be moving for a couple of days because it is supposed to be blizzard like. But like always I have a million pictures and not a lot to say.
So since I most likely wont write again before Christmas. Merry Christmas and I hope that everyone is safe and has a wonderful day. Oh and thank you grandma and grandpa Cameron for the big box Robert has played in it most of each day for the last week and so it has saved me a lot of clean up time so I get to spend more time with him.We liked this one we call it the homeless in my own living room picture.

vomit, wedding, and potty training

So Thursday we got in the car to make our way to Utah for Bryce's brother's wedding. Robert was tired and we have now learned that starting on a trip when he is tired is bad news. He threw up all over the back seat of the car not once but twice before we were even out of Bremerton. He kept spitting up until we reached Pendleton where we were able to think and bought crackers and seven up for him. After that it was smooth sailing. We got into Logan at 2:30 in the morning and slept for 4 hours before Robert insisted on getting up.

Bryce's parents and sisters arrived Friday evening and we spent some time talking and figuring out the plan for the next day before people went to bed. It was a kind of early morning. Looking back I should have gotten up earlier so that I could have gotten everything done with a little time to think before we left for the day's activities.

We had lunch with Judy's family before the wedding. It was yummy. The sealing was wonderful they had an awesome sealer. It was neat to be there and see my husband with his brother. They are brother's but they are also really good friends. We spent some time at the mall before the reception. The reception was beautiful. It was small and sweet. If I had it to do over again I would go with the size they had. I liked it. Don't worry I have pictures of it. And just for all of you Judy's mom made Judy's dress. It was really pretty.

Now we are back home and potty training is in full swing at our house. Robert is doing pretty good. He has only had one accident in his underwear in two days. He gets so happy. It is funny he will run into the bathroom and then wait for you to help him. He then stands there and says its coming over and over again until he starts to pee. (I am a mom I get joy out of these little accompishments that my little boy has)

I think thats it except for pictures.

The cake was really good

I saved this one for last because it is my favorite.

So it has been about a week since Halloween and I finally put the pictures of Robert on the computer. He announced once we were finished with Trick or Treating that Halloween was fun because he got to get candy. He seems to be growing up so fast. He is talking so much more now and asking to call people and then actually talking to them. He loves the show Arrested Development. Church is still his favorite place to go. My favorite thing he does though is he will bring me one of his scripture readers and ask me to read him a story from it. He also will sing the sunbeam song for you all by himself now.

As for the rest of us well Bryce and I not much has changed. We are still getting up at 5 to work out every morning. We will be going out of town next weekend (the 13-16) for his brother's wedding. We are looking forward to it because we will get to see his family and my mom on that trip. I took a couple pictures of what it looks like from our back door and I'll put one or two of them on this entry. We are starting to get excited for Christmas because it will be just the 3 of us this year so it will be up to Bryce and I to make it amazing for Robert. Bryce I think is more excited for it that Robert is. Well I think thats it so now for pictures.

Go Speed Racer

Go Speed Racer

GO Speed Racer GOOOOOO!
As many if not all of you know he dressed as Speed Racer for Halloween this year. He loved it and even carried a monkey with him and told people it was ChimChim.

Hannah this picture is just for you because you have been asking for so long to see a picture of him in his puppy towel.

This is the beautiful sight from our sliding door! It is great to be able to look out and see this.

Robert got these clothes in the mail this week and wanted to try them on and take his picture. I tried to get him to put a shirt on first but he would have nothing to do with it.

This and That

So no pictures today but I finished his costume and he loves it.He wore it to an activity at the church just because he wont take it off and I guess people have been talking about it. My visiting teachers came the other day and asked about it. I kept thinking its just a white jacket.

Bryce is doing great. He loves his job and the fact that he gets to spend more time with Robert. He didn't enjoy the maybe an hour each day when we lived in Idaho.

We went to see the BYU Ballroom Dancers last week and they were wonderful. Robert loved it. I wish I could have taken a picture of his face. It was so cute. He once again has put dancing above all else and has me dance with him on a daily basis for at least and hour most of the time more.

We are all excited my brother in laws wedding is coming up and it will be the only time this year that I get to see my sisters in law. That and we are just really happy for Patrick. He is an awesome guy that just needed to find the right girl. We love you Judy you helped him to be who we all know he is.

My mom is doing a lot better. She is able to be up and moving around a lot more now. A couple weeks ago she went to church and was able to stay for all three meetings for the first time this year. We all say it is because she has a wonderful son out on a mission and so she is being blessed for sending him.

I think that is about it for this week. I will post pictures from Halloween next weekend.

Sorry

Ok so it has been a while. I am so sorry. We have been busy getting our house put together and enjoying the good weather while we have it. This last month we went to Seattle for a day went to a lot of parks and pent a morning in Poulsbo looking at the shops. We have been having a lot of fun out here but we miss our friends back in Rexburg.

Robert has grown out of his costume that he was going to wear for Halloween so I had to make him a new costume. He decided he wants to be Speed Racer.

He also has started pretending he is spiderman. He has a pair of red blanket sleepers that have blue sleeves and when he puts them on he says he is spiderman. The first time he did this he tried to shot webs and even tried to climb the wall and asked why he couldnt when he fell. Bryce saw that he was a little upset by the fact he couldn't and took him out and swung him around like he was using his webs.

Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to.

Robert in his now too small Elvis costume. This picture was taken when we were getting ready to move.

Robert is in his almost finished Speed Racer costume.

Robert on the "motorcycle" at the park.

At the beach that is at his favorite park.

Robert has rediscovered his love of bacon

Now for last night. It was so much fun. We didn't watch tv but spent a lot of time together playing. After Robert was done running we turned on some music and started to dance. We even got Bryce to dance with us. This was the first time in 3 years that we danced together. We cant think of a reason why we haven't done this more and so we are going to start doing this with Robert more often. That's it for this week. Until next week (I hope) have fun!

another post

Hey all,
Sorry no pictures today. I am still unpacking but we are in our apartment (have been for a little over a week now). I just wanted to update everyone one things. The day after I posted my grandfather passed on. He is in a better place with the love of his life now. His funeral was on Saturday and due to our moving I was not there. My mom did make it out though (I don't know that her doctors were happy about her going). From what I heard it was a simple but loving and sweet funeral. As for an update on my mom, her health is declining again and her memory is being affected by it this time. My dad has started to keep a much closer eye on her which I don't think she like much. She thought he was keeping a close eye on her before.
Robert is liking his new house but wants all of his old friends here with him. I like it because it isn't all white. Thank you to all who sent me a happy birthday. I am hoping it will be. We are going to Portland for my birthday and will be going to an All British Field Meet while we are out there. I am excited. I promise pictures next week and they will be of all our little trips.
We love and miss you all

Still out and about

Our apartment is still not ready and so I am enjoying more time with Bryce's grandparents. Bryce on the other hand started work today and so I wont see him and it is our anniversary. Oh well there will be another one next year. Robert is missing all of his friends and asks for them all daily. His best friend right now is a dog by the name of Muffin. Then to top things off I might have to fly to Utah next week. My grandfather is stopping dialysis and the doctor's say he has a week maybe a week and a half if he does. So I may end up at a funeral on my birthday and not out here at the All British Field Meet like I want to be.

But things we have done since we got here. Lets see, we went to the zoo and to see the waterfall and to Bryce's old houses in Longview. Um as soon as I can I will post pictures of our little trips. We have had a lot of fun. And we miss all of our friends very much and hope all is well with you. Until next I write...

So this was the weekend that took us until Wednesday to fully recover from and now we are going into full packing mode. I probably wont post again until we are set up in our new home in the wonderful state of Washington. I want to tell all of my friends how much I love you. You are the best friends a girl could have. To my family you mean the world to me and I can't wait until I see you guys again. I know it wont be for a while but I still look forward to it.

Utah Stuff

Over the fourth of July weekend we went to Utah for my family reunion, and two sealings. The first was for my brother ans sister to be sealed to my parents and the second was for another of my sisters who got married. It was a great weekend. Seeing my family was so much fun. They are a blast to spend time with. Here are pictures to highlight the trip being as pictures say more than words. The only thing I don't have pictures of is my visit to see my cousin. He is home now and continues with therapy and we are so proud of him and his family they are such fighters.
This is my niece Rebecca at the pre fourth of July fireworks show at the Canyons in park City.
Robert Dancing with Rebecca at the same party.
Robert and his Uncle Coby on their way to get food with mommy. The guys preparing for the family reunion.

My mom talking to family members and having a good time. I love you mom!
This is my great aunt Lisa. She started the biggest water fight at the family reunion and had all the older kids (her brothers and sisters) dumping water on people. I stayed out of it.

Robert and Rebecca playing in the water together. He really loves you Rebecca!
Don't eat her face Chris you will get lunch soon!
This is Rebecca with my cousin Clayton. And just so everyone knows he is an awesome guy. I would not have made it when I lived in Utah without him. He was also a big help when Bryce came home befoore my sisters wedding because he had classes. Clayton stepped in and helped me with Robert and was there to cheer me up when I started to miss Bryce (which didn't take long). Clayton will always have a special place in our hearts and dude you are welcome to come and visit anytime!!
This is my other niece Elizabeth with her mom Ashley. They will be moving to Rexburg to finish school either next month or the beginning of September.
And this is my one and only (for the time being) nephew Christopher. Isn't he sweet!!

Lots of pictures I know but they are the best way to remember parts of my life. For me pictures hold lots of memories and are glimpses into my past.
