What to do

Patrick was here over the weekend and we had a lot of fun. Robert was sad when he left on Monday. He brought his girlfriend up with him. She is one of the nicest girls I have ever met. I love her already. Ok so I am taking a break from writing right now. I finished my first story ( it is just a continuation of a series I am reading. The next one comes out in August and I needed something to get my mind off of things so I wrote my own fourth book while I am waiting) and now I have a ton of free time. I don't feel very creative right now and it is driving me crazy. I need help. Robert is going nuts because it has been raining a lot lately and I would let him play in the rain but there has been thunder and lightning. He is bored with the puzzles and I don't know what else to do that we don't. Other than that there isn't a lot going on. We are looking at apartments still. Bryce is working on his paperwork for his job that he starts on our anniversary. I am starting to try and come up with ideas for Roberts birthday. It is hard because we want to get things for him that he can play with in and out of the car.
The one thing I am working on at the moment and need to really get going on is the stuff for my sisters wedding. I am taking care of all the flowers and centerpieces. It is kinda hard to do being as I wont be at the reception to set it up so I have to get the stuff put one together take a picture and get it to her in July so that she has it all and can get it put together for her reception in August.
Well thats all from us for now. Until next week have fun!!

Hot Hot Hot

OK so there isn't much new to report from Rexburg Idaho. It has been hot the last few days and we decided to take advantage of it. That was why I looked like a lobster last week. The sunburn has healed and things are good again. We spent Saturday out as a family this last weekend. We walked all over town and went to see Prince Caspian. I have also decided to start reading a new book and started on the Chronicles of Narnia this last week. Bryce is reading a set of Science Fiction books that I love. He is reading the Homecoming series for any of you that know Orson Scott Cards work. Patrick is going to be coming up to spend memorial day weekend with us and so we are busy getting ready for that. I am not able to do any of my errands though. Our car has decided that it wants to act up. Bryce is going to get it looked at tomorrow. I am also trying to find a fun way to start teaching Robert his abc's. He gets so bored on the days we cant go out and play and so I need to find fun games to play with him. Any ideas would help!!!
We have started to look at apartments in Washington. I figure we need to get going on it. We are moving in two and a half months. I try to only think of the things that we have to do right now. It is going to be a hard move. We are leaving behind a lot of great friends and the only home that Robert has ever known. We know that it will be great once we get there but leaving is going to be sad.
There is a bright spot this week aside from Patrick's visit. We are glad that we live on the hill. Rexburg is looking at a flood warning this week because of the rate of snow melt. It has filled the rivers faster than they are able to carry it down stream and so the lower areas of town will most likely see a little flood damage this weekend. We shall see.
Like I said there isn't much going on.
I'll write again next week.

Hey All. Not to much going on this week. Bryce's mom came Sunday and had to leave on Tuesday morning. We had lots of fun with her while she was here though. Bryce is in school for the last semester still. That part will stay the same until the middle of July. I found out this week that I am one of like eight women in my ward not pregnant. I swear there must be something in the water here.
Bryce and I have been looking at apartments in Washington. We have decided that we are going to rent for about a year so that we have time to find a house in the right neighborhood for our family. From looking at things online and Bryce's trip out there we are thinking that we want to settle in Poulsbo but we will see when we get out there.
Robert now has a favorite singer to listen to. He is one of the biggest Elvis fans. It is so cute. When I ask what he wants to listen to he brings me his Elvis CD. I turn it on and he pulls me up to dance with him. I love that kid.
As for me. I have been writing and now have decided to play around with art again. I am going to paint a picture of Robert and I (I'm using the one on this post). I already did one of Robert and Bryce and of the three of us. This is the last to the set then I will be done with them until we get pregnant and have another kid. Then I will have another four pictures to do. At least I have something to do to de-stress from going through things now. Until next week take care.
