BIG NEWS

Ok so it has been forever since I last wrote. So here is what you have missed in The Cameron Family.

We had a nice quiet Christmas at home. Same with New Years. In fact it was quiet here until March. That was when I had outpatient surgery to clear up the problems I was having. Now about 3 months after the surgery I am pregnant with our second child (thank you for good doctors who listen and fix the problem) and due in January. (Robert helped me to make this announcement)
Robert is a very excited big brother to be. He has gone to every ultrasound with me so far and is not to shy to ask questions he has about the baby of the nurses and other doctor's office staff. He is great to take. At the last ultrasound to verify the due date he told the tech it was not a seed anymore (which is what he said it looked like the last time we went because the baby looked like a little ball) but had grown into a baby. His joy and excitement about the coming addition to our family just makes me smile and jump up and down. He talks to the baby daily and tells him or her all the things he wants to tech them. He hugs and kisses my belly saying that they are for the baby. I cant wait to see him with the actual baby when it comes.

The dog on the other hand is not so sure about all of this. He is not as affectionate as he was before I was pregnant. He in fact comes and sniffs my belly and then walks away huffing. I hope he gets used to it or I will have a lot to worry about when baby comes. Hope all is well with everyone and cant wait to see family again. Love to you all!!!

Happenings

So It has been forever and I feel horrible about that but...

We decided to go to a pumpkin patch this year. It was nuts. Way to busy for our liking.
Robert did like the corn maze and the hay maze though.
We did get a couple of pumpkins while we were there. We decided to get funky looking ones because you can get perfect looking ones at the store.Robert was Iron Man for Halloween and all of his pictures are in the same pose because it is from his favorite part in the movie. He got a ton of candy and has eaten it all already. My mom came out for a visit and just went home yesterday. We had a really good time. We stayed with Bryce's grandparents and were able to go to the waterfall and the fish hatchery last week. We got some neat pictures that day. My mom and I also were able to go to Time out for Women. It was so good. I learned so much. We then came to my house and spent a day or two here. We did a craft one night and finished it the night before she flew home. We talked a lot while she was here and got to know each other again. I think it was a great trip. Robert misses her already.

We are getting excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Robert has already decided what to give everyone for Christmas. All I have to say is I am glad we are staying home this year.
I will try and write again soon.

So Whats New

Ok so Robert's birthday and Bryce's birthday have now passed. I have pictures but they are not on the computer yet and I keep telling myself that that is why I haven't posted yet. I guess I could do what I am now doing and just write.
Robert is my big 4 year old now. He had a blast for this birthday. We celebrated on Father's Day so that we could have more family here. Bryce's Grandparent's came up from Portland and their foster daughter who Robert lovingly calls Aunt Emerald came with her husband and daughter. We had so much fun. The kids did indoor fishing and there was a massive nerf fight.
Bryce's 29th birthday was a much quieter affair. We had a cake and it was just the 3 of us watching daddy's favorite shows and spending lots of time with him since he started swing shift the nest day. That's right Bryce is working swing shift for the next month and I have noticed it does mess with my schedule. I think I am coping rather well though. I just kind of flipped it backwards and it seems to work. Robert loves having daddy home during the day.
I am busy finishing getting things ready for trek and for family to come and visit. Starting the middle of next week I will be pretty busy. That is why I am getting out of here for a day or 2 this week. I am going to go and visit Bryce's grandparents since Bryce is way busy this week anyway.
I have decided that I like having a 4 year old boy. He is so much fun. Of course everything is a gun but hey he is a boy. His imagination is so cool. He comes up with some of the funnest games to play. I love having the evenings to spend with him. He is a little calmer and will let me hold him more. He is very inquisitive and asks about everything. I see now why my parents hate the question why. I think I hear it about 100 times a day.
I think that is all for now if I think of anything else I will post it.
See ya!

Robert

So Robert has been really cute the last couple of months. He has started using a phrase that I don't know where he got it but he says "You make my heart so happy". I love it and have started using it myself on occasion. He does though he makes my heart so happy it feels like it will burst for joy. He loves to play with his dad and all his little friends. His friend Jack is his best guy friend and Robert has told me that he is his new brother. I guess that since I haven't given him a sibling to play with he is taking matter's into his own hands and adopting his friends. He is still very into Super Heroes. His favorite right now is Iron Man but I think it is because of the movie coming out.

Robert is also a very caring boy. He knows that his Nana is sick and so he calls her as often as he can and will laugh into the phone when she answers just so that she will laugh. She told him once that his laugh makes her feel better and so now he thinks it is his responsibility to make her better. He also is sweet most of the time to his friends and hugs them when they are upset and try's to make them laugh. I guess he is liked by all the kids in his class and is quite the little entertainer in his class at church.

We really aren't up to much just playing at the park and doing our church stuff. I'm still in Young Women's and Bryce is in the Elder's Quarm presidency. Robert will be 4 next month and we are trying to figure out what kind of party he wants. It goes from sports to bugs to some kind of superhero to Tinkerbell and the Lost treasure/ Peter Pan. As soon as he decides then I can get to work on that. I have started to sell creative memories so that I have play money but it is a good product and easy to work with.

The last thing I want to say is Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful women in my life. Thank you for everything that you have given and taught to me in my life.

SO Sorry!!!!

OK I know I haven't put anything on here since November but I have been really busy. Since Christmas we have spent a total of 2 weekends at home. We have been down in OR a lot.

Robert is doing really well. He is getting tall. Bryce has taught him his right from left and he seems to be remembering it. We are working on learning to recognize and write letters. We are starting with the letters in his name. It has been a lot of fun. He loves to learn new things and do workbook pages. He calls it his school. He has made a bunch of new friends and enjoys playing with the little girl that I watch three times a week. He still loves to pretend that he is superman and does not like to take off the jammies (They are his super hero ones) that his Nana gave him for Christmas.

Bryce has been doing the same thing he has been for the last year and a half almost. He still likes his job and is really enjoying it right now. He is working at the trouble desk and has to run and fix the instructions if something is wrong on them. He will be doing this until August. He also has started running 3 times a week and has told me that eventually he wants to be able to run a half marathon. I think it is a great goal.

As for me I am still loving Young Women's. I have been asked to go on trek this year with the youth. I have started to get into shape for it so that I don't die pulling a handcart in eastern Washington for 4 days. I am watching a little girl 3 days a week like I mentioned. With all of those things and my normal housewife work and being a mommy I stay really busy. Robert is so much fun to be around though. He says so many funny things and has such a wonderful imagination that it is a joy to watch him play , learn and grow every day. I often think to myself that he is better entertainment than any tv show, music, or game ever could be.

Ok the pictures on here: The first one was Robert at Christmas and the second was from one day last month when Robert decided that all he wanted to wear was his monkey apron. We called him the naked chef and I got some cute pictures of him. They are total blackmail or embarrass the heck out of him when he gets married type pictures!!

I will try to be better about updating this year. I cant promise that it will be every week but I will try for that. So until I write again. Have fun and get out and do something!!!

November has come and almost gone

ok so it is getting to be the end of November now and I still haven't posted Halloween pictures. I have been so bad about updating since we moved. Here are the pictures and then I'll tell you all what we have been up to.

The first one is when we were getting ready to go out and then the Jack o lantern and the last is when we were done and getting ready to go to dinner. Robert had so much fun going trick or treating for the first time to houses. He got the hang of it really fast and after the first one dodn't try to go inside anyone's house. He even figured out that he only was supposed to go to the houses that had the outside lights on. I love my little boy.

Since then Bryce's mom has come and gone. While she was here we had a chance to go down to Portland and visit with some family. Robert had so much fun taking his grandma and going to see his great grandmas. He is starting to learn how all the family stuff works. He keeps telling me that Grandma Betty is Grandma Pools mommy.

Now we are getting ready to go down and see Bryce's grandmother and Aunt and Uncle for thanksgiving. I think it will be a lot of fun. I'll post again soon I hope.

WOW

Ok it has taken forever but here it is. We moved the middle/end of August and painted the middle of September, and now it is the middle of October, and I am getting this blog done. I know people want to see pictures of the house, and I will get them up in this blog. Here they are...

The guest room before/ after

Robert's bathroom before/ after

The kitchen before/ after

Robert's Bedroom (I don't have a before picture but it was all pale blue including the ceiling which is now white)

Our bedroom (It was just a boring white room before)

The upstairs living room

Now that you guys have the pictures I can talk. Robert is loving the new house. The basement has a huge main room, and it serves as the play room/ computer room/ tv room. It has been really nice because we can all be downstairs together and each enjoy or work on whatever it is we need to. Robert has made a few new friends here as have I. It has been nice to be able to walk over to my friend Jessica's house so that Robert can play with her 2 girls. Our new ward is nice, and I am enjoying getting to know the ladies in my new ward. I have finished Robert's Halloween costume. He is going to be Jack the Pumpkin King. It turned out pretty cute if I say so myself (I think it is because of the boy wearing it). He also asked me to make him a Zero ( the ghost dog) it was fun figuring out how to make him. The dog doesn't have a nose yet because we are going to use glow sticks so that his nose glows orange and he can be seen as he goes trick or treating with Bryce. I get to stay home and hand out candy as kids come to the door.

Robert is going to have his face painted and wear white gloves when he is all dressed up.
